Here are the steps to change your twitter handle.

1. Login to your twitter account and navigate to your profile page.
2. Click on the profile picture icon at the top-right corner and choose 'Settings'from the drop down.

3. Now the 'Account' settings tab will open up by default. If not select the 'Account' link to bring up the settings page.
4. Look for 'Username' field and change it to your liking. It can be of up to 15 characters in length and contain alphabets, numbers and underscore.

5. If the entered username is already taken you will be prompted to try different one. When you are done, scroll to the bottom and click on 'Save changes' button.
6. You have to enter your password once again to confirm changes to your account.
